Reader and artist, Eric Mercer sent me this awesome clipping from a book he owns after I posted about lawn mower bikes. It still isn't a testament to their efficacy, but at least now there's historical precedent for the contraption, proving once again that the desire to avoid tedious yard work is not a new one.
