Cast Your Own Knitting Needles

Over at Craftster, Ammasmamma has put up quite the tutorial on casting your own knitting needles using McDonalds straws and resin. Looks like a lot of messy work and requires (sort of) a Dremel tool, but I imagine if you did a bunch at a time, it could be worth it. The results certainly look good. link
