I love sparklers! Favorite firework of all time, probably. Not the flashiest, not the biggest, but I'll take sparklers almost any day over other fireworks. Thing is, you can make your own. Find out how here. Happy Independence Day!

Or you could just stick a pad of superfine steel wool (#0000) on the end of a wire hanger and light it with a 9-volt battery. Shoots really far and spins, like a flame-throwing sparkler. Not as safe I guess but far more awesome, cheap and easy.
Uh, don't let the kids know about that. :-)
