Literal Treehouse

Originally for use by the Tasmanian Forestry Service, this literal treehouse is now for sale on Ebay for a cool $12,000. It's going to need some work, but for the enterprising do-it-yourselfer, seems like a bargain for 450 square feet of pure weirdness. More photos here.

Ha ha, I'm actually from Tasmania - maybe I should buy this & move back!
Actually, it's quite a tempting idea.....

Rie,

Ha! Let me know if you buy the tree house! Thanks for the comment.

What will you do to prevent termites and squirrel gangs from ransacking your tree home?

Faith - I think it's actually made of a space aged polymer. I'm sure it's critter-resistant. Thanks for the comment!
