Scrap Metal - The Work of David Buckingham


Richard dropped me a line on FB this morning to let me know about the crazy-cool stuff that is coming out of David Buckingham's studio. As you know, I'm a sucker for type, so I love this stuff. Lots of good process shots and generous galleries to check out but, be warned, if you are easily offended by mature language, some pieces will probably offend you. Thanks, Richard!

  1. I think I'm in love... with this guy's sculpture! Fantastic. The George Carlin R.I.P. piece had to be one of my favorites of the entire site, but I love his use of scrap metal and type. I'm forwarding this link to my design students.

  2. Phoenyx - I agree. Being a huge fan of the Clash and Apocalypse Now, I would love to have the "Charlie Don't Surf" piece. Quite amazing stuff. Thanks for the comment!
