Another Place - The Work of Antony Gormley

Wow, am I glad I ran across the work of Antony Gormley today. So much variation. So much cool stuff. I especially love the giant garbage man and the shadowy figures made of what look like small pieces of wood, though I imaging its bronze.

  3. Agreed, Antony Gormley's works are amazing in real life. I live near to the Angel of the North that overlooks the main road into Newcastle/Gateshead here in the north east of England and it fills me with a sense of pride and wonder each time I go past. His sculpture has become a symbol for the regeneration of this area.

  4. The ethereal grace of those figures on the beach feels like walking in your own dreams...eerie and beautiful. I like the quietness they carry.
