3D Optical Illusion Aimed at Drivers

The Vancouver authorities swear that this optical illusion they've installed is being closely monitored for both pedestrian and driver safety, but if I looked up from texting my friends while I was enjoying my morning latte and trying to find my favorite 80s mix on my satellite radio, I think I might freak out and crash.

I think this project would be way more interesting if they had street artists do giant monsters or leagues of zombies instead of just kids painted on the road, don't you?

  1. I think I'd start to freak out when the kid began to elongate before my eyes...finally believing those flashback I'd invested in so long ago were starting to pay off.

  5. So... what happens when these start popping up all over the place and a real kid runs into the street and people go,"Oh, it's just a drawing..."?

  6. I would worry that they would start to think all kids playing in the road were just paintings and start pedal to the metal-ing it.
