Explaining the Kindle to Dickens

Cardiff School of Art & Design student Rachel Walsh was tasked with explaining a modern piece of gadgetry to some one who died before 1900. So, she decided she would explain the Amazon Kindle to author Charles Dickens and submitted this project. She designed 40 miniature books and placed them inside of a hardcover book. That's as good a way to think about it as any, right? Plus, cool looking project!! More details at Neatorama.

  1. I meant to comment on this forever ago, but I guess I forgot. Any way, the day you posted this, was coincidentally the same day that we got my Mom a Kindle. I showed it to her, and she found it very amusing.
