Shea Hembrey Becomes 100 Artists

Best TED talk I've seen in awhile. Artist Shea Hembrey in the midst of planning to curate a biennale, decides that instead of traveling the world to find art for his exhibition, it would be easier if he just made up names and biographies for 100 artists and did all the work himself. Crazy, genius, funny, and really, really good.

  1. Hi Paul,

I saw the video yesterday and in my opinion it's not so much the art that he made, although he presents some good works - other's seem made in a more hurried way - that I'm sure gave him some hard work to come up with.

What one should infer from his talk is how concept, creativity and presentation of an idea can result in great acception by the public, if done properly.

    Best regards,
