The Color of Anything

Here's some fun for your Wednesday. Fung Kwok Pan has developed this slick little piece of code that allows you to enter a search query, then grabs 80 Flickr photos related to your query, then makes a composite of the photos, showing you the color of whatever you entered. It's pretty neat to watch this thing work. Try it yourself here.

  1. That's awesome, Paul! I entered the word CRAFTS and was surprised to see such a subtle image, I expected something a lot more vibrant like your ukulele image. Still, it's nifty to throw out words and watch what happens. You find THE coolest stuff!
