Great stuff as always, Paul! Would love to see some video of your printing process -- was this designed digitally? And then are you silkscreening? Would love to know... many thanks for all you do here on the blog from a long time reader!
Don't know if you're taking reservations on these yet, but if you are I will gladly purchase the Einstein one and these Sweat, Tears or the Sea one. These are great -- we'll done!
Just had a squizz at the shop. I know you say these are silkscreens but they look quite a bit like letterpress on the site. Nice designs. And I'm only mildly offended by the accordian quote. (Although, if you'd insulted the uke in the same way I probably would have been stabbing the screen..!)

Paul Overton is a prolific blogger, maker, writer, and ukulele player living in Hardwick, MA with three dogs, his closest co-conspirator, and a lawn that makes his octogenarian neighbors want to call the authorities. About DudeCraft
DudeCraft represents a different kind of tribe in the world of making things, intentionally blurring the lines between, art, craft, engineering, and the good old “Can Do” spirit. Makers of all stripes are welcome here and are encouraged to join the conversation, no matter what their enthusiasms. Guys who knit, girls who weld, it’s all the same on DudeCraft. We are people who make cool stuff, have an urge to share it, and don’t mind explaining how we did it, so that other folks can benefit from our experience.

ReplyDeleteDavid,
ReplyDeleteYes, they are digitally designed and then screenprinted by hand, one at a time.
Lovely! Any chance you're taking reservations for these already? If so, I'm interested in the Einstein and Fuller, one of each.

ReplyDeleteYou should make T-Shirts with these on them. I really like the one about salt water and the sea. Is there a link to more of this?
